Project Overview

The Acqwa project is one of the first projects to have been funded under FP7. The project aims to measure the impact of global warming on the quality and quantity of water in high and medium mountains.

Project Results

The project aims to set up a model that combines the economic situation and structures of the territories. The objective is to be able to anticipate a future water status according to a situation. The project therefore provided an opportunity to measure a large number of data within the observed areas (about ten). The areas observed are not only in Europe, which is a point to be noted here. This allows us to deepen our knowledge of the different environments.
