Nadapta – Estrategia integrada para la adaptacion al cambio climatico en Navarra
Project Overview
The project was born as a result of Navarra’s climate change adaptation plan. It is a matter of following the roadmap of the general project of Navarre. The project focuses on adaptation to climate change in several areas: water, forestry, agriculture, health, infrastructure, surveillance. Improving resilience around climate change is a central objective, NAdapta is intended as a support to the development of the regional strategy. The objectives are at the same time at the level of the implementation of adaptation measures, the development of new technologies and indicators (state of the soil, fires etc.), the planning of the development of new infrastructures.
Project Results
The project extends over 8 years and is still ongoing in 2020. However many results are already visible. The project communicates on social networks as well as on Youtube and websites (partners, official website). The project has set up a discussion space called AGORA KLINa. In addition, the project communicates about climate change through the publication of a monthly magazine called “KLINA BERRI”.
