RISK-AQUASOIL – Atlantic risk management plan in water and soil
Project Overview
In summary, the project will contribute to a better coordination for the detection, risk management and rehabilitation for rural territories (maritime and land areas), especially for agricultural purposes, mainly associated to climate change and natural hazards but also to human pressure.
Project Results
The program used several disciplines to carry out its project. The results are visible within the territories, both visibly and invisibly. The program has improved knowledge of natural phenomena resulting from climatic hazards: erosion, flooding. The program has made it possible to develop tools for analysing water and soil quality as well as tools to combat environmental degradation (layout of watercourses, etc.). The program has developed technological tools for landscape modelling and remote sensing tools.
