Project Overview

The objective of this project was to analyse the different possible modes of governance to effectively address the risk of river flooding in urban areas in Europe and to produce elements for improvement that could be appropriated by land and flood risk managers.

Project Results

The main objective of the programme was to understand current policies and propose areas for improvement. The programme published a document for local communities but also proposed various future research axes in order to carry out water policies. STAR-FLOOD has implemented a territorial analysis method that they believe can be exported to other fields such as environmental policies, urban planning, etc.
